Last Saturday we had the boys first birthday party. It was a huge success. The boys were great. I was just sure there would be a melt down at some point but there never was. They both really liked playing in their cakes and had to get a bath between cake time and present opening. They looked precious in their little blue Strasbourg outfits. We are still working on a time with the photographer for their official pictures but we got lots of good ones with friends and family. (Here is a picture of them with their great-grandparents.)
Then on Sunday the boys were dedicated. They did really well with no fussing at all. They were fascinated by the stage lights. I had to move the buttons on charlie's outfit the night before, and we (as in pretty much the whole family and some friends) spent the entire week before trying to find shoes that would fit on their feet. It was all worth though as they looked like little angels. This picture was taken on our front porch after the service.
